...Replaced...It's All Good w/ Revolutionary Cries: Keep it up Racists!
The true fear of a racist is a minority uprising. They fear that they will one day be treated as they have treated us. Look to any comment section of an article about President Obama and see how quickly a comment is written saying “Obummer wants to instate white slavery.”
This is a real fear. The thing is, what white people are afraid of is karma.
The really funny thing is, PoC aren’t looking for revenge, we are looking for equality. This is something that racists are unable to comprehend. Yes, there are a myriad of reasons to be angry. To want to fight. To want to cause you harm…but we don’t. We don’t want MORE THAN, we want SAME AS. This is something racists refuse to accept or believe on any level.
This is why Black history month is a problem. We aren’t getting more, but because there is a focus, no matter how small, on something non-white, it’s a problem.
The beautiful thing is that even though there are some really intelligent racist, there seem to be far more idiot racists! This is helpful. If there ever comes a day of the downfall of racists it will be because of the ones that are to comfortable.
We are seeing this right now with the students in Tucson, AZ. The racist tried to take their history out of school so they made their own school. This is what racists don’t get. There IS a breaking point. Yes, we deal with racism all day every day. However, when you so blatantly try to eliminate who we are, our value, our worth and our contributions, there will be an uprising.
